Ragazzi Wine + Pasta heads south to Melbourne for the month of April, taking up residency at 274 Brunswick Street in Fitzroy.

Ragazzi Residenza is open from Thursday April 9th to Sunday May 3rd, led by Love Tilly Group’s Culinary Director Scott McComas-Williams, Group Executive Chefs Alex Major and Damiano Balducci, newly appointed Group General Manager Adam Fogwell and Head of Beverage James Griffin.

Ragazzi’s front-of-house team will be joined by James Tait and Luke Drum, the driving force behind Melbourne’s beloved Alta Trattoria, which sadly closed. Having previously brought their Piedmontese concept to Ragazzi in 2023, the Melbourne-based duo is returning the favour, inviting Ragazzi to their Fitzroy venue, now used for guest chef residencies.

On the menu for the month, Scott, Alex and Dami will be plating up some of Ragazzi’s classics, such as the famed Anchovy sourdough; Tuna crudo, apple, wasabi on pasta fritta; Ravioli of Jerusalem artichoke, Pecorino Romano, and bitter honey; Mafaldine, Spanish mackerel, fermented chilli and eschalot; and Ricotta panna cotta, green apple granita, to name a few.

To drink, the wine list will reflect Ragazzi’s ethos, focusing on their favourite small Italian producers from Brunello to Barolo. As ever, there will be an emphasis on traditional, handmade and delicious bottles.

Ragazzi Residenza is open Wednesdays to Sundays from 5pm, as well as Fridays through Sundays for lunch from 12pm.
