Letra House

Letra House is an underground restaurant and late-night wine bar, hidden beneath Palazzo Salato in Sydney’s CBD. The wine list is ever changing with over 50 bottles - all available by the glass - with a succinct selection of cocktails and vermouth.
A Spanish-leaning menu of snacks, small plates and sharers is a reflection of the team’s time spent cooking and travelling around Spain. There's a focus on seasonal, sustainable and producer-led ingredients, with the team regularly taking a nose-to-tail approach.
Fast-paced and dynamic, you might expect to see tapas like raw scampi tostadas and Manchego custard-filled donuts with anchovies. There will always be a traditional Spanish tortilla, as well as a selection of jamón. Head Chef Brandon Jones’ socarrat with pippies and firefly squid is not to be missed, nor the house-made morcilla.
Happy Hour runs from 4pm to 6pm, Monday to Saturday, see you at the bar.

Socarrat
Head Chef Brandon Jones’ socarrat is inspired by the crispy, caramelised rice on the bottom of a paella pan. You’ll always find it on the menu, in some guise or another.
At the moment, it’s topped with firefly squid, mussels and vongole, with spoonfuls of golden Spanish vinegar–spiked beurre blanc.
