Fabbrica Presents: Brendan Pang

This August, we're thrilled to welcome Brendan Pang, MasterChef alum, to the Fabbrica Newtown kitchen.
For one night only, the chef, author and content creator will present a set menu that marries his Chinese-Mauritian heritage with his recent travels to Italy. One peek at Brendan's social media presence (boasting a telling 1m+ followers) tells the story for us. This is food that's adventurous, immediately appealing and absolutely delicious.

Having learned from the best – his beloved Grandmère – Brendan launched a new chapter in his culinary career after competing in MasterChef in 2018 and 2020. Today, he has multiple cookbooks under his belt, hosts cooking classes and shares recipes, stories and travel-inspired food to his legions of followers. Lucky us!
Teaming up with our Culinary Director Scott McComas-Williams and Fabbrica Newtown’s Head Chef Keir Ballantyne, Brendan has crafted a menu that we want to dive right into. A taster? There'll be pork and fennel cabbage rolls, hand-cut casarecce with blue swimmer crab in XO butter, pork and ginger tortellini (inspired by the flavours of xiao long bao), and Tathra Place pork neck char siu. To finish, a deft and characteristic spin on our classic dessert: Hong Kong milk tea tiramisu.
